Hello, I'm Rebecca
A Little About Me And How I Came To This Work
I’m a clinical psychologist, and a Melbourne girl at heart. After many years building my career in Queensland, I have recently made my way home, and I’m really glad to be back supporting people in my own community again.
Across more than a decade in mental health, I have worked in both public services and private practice. My time with Queensland Health, across Alcohol and Drug Services, Community Care Units, and Acute Care teams, meant supporting people through some of their most complex and difficult moments. Alongside that, I have spent many years in private practice. That mix has given me a real grounding in both the everyday and the more complex, and it shapes the way I work today.
I work with adults, and what I care about most is meeting you as a whole person. Rather than a one-size-fits-all model, I shape therapy around your goals, your needs and your lived experience, in a space that feels safe, respectful and free of judgement. My hope is that you leave feeling genuinely heard, and supported to make the changes that matter to you.
What I Help With
My Areas Of Practice
I offer individual psychological therapy for adults. The areas I work with include:
- Trauma and complex trauma
- Anxiety and depression
- Substance use and addiction
- Nervous system regulation and somatic concerns
- Complex mental health difficulties
- Stress, adjustment and life transitions
How I Work
Trauma-Informed, Relational, And Shaped Around You
My approach is trauma-informed, relational and integrative. I draw on somatic and nervous-system-focused frameworks alongside well-established, evidence-based psychological therapies, so that we can work with both your mind and your body as we make sense of things together.
Depending on what suits you, that might include Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution Focused Therapy, and mindfulness-based practices. More than any single method, though, every session is rooted in compassion, empathy and genuine listening, and guided by your goals.

A Bit More About Me
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me spending time with family and friends, or seeking out a new cafe, and I never say no to good coffee or chocolate. I love to travel and explore new places, and I’m happiest when there is a bit of nature involved, whether that is camping, bouldering, or a good walk. I also enjoy yoga and a great audiobook. The balance that nature, learning and connection bring is part of what keeps me grounded, and able to show up well for the people I work with.
