Possible signs and symptoms of ADHD
Have you noticed possible signs or symptoms of ADHD? Losing things, careless mistakes, procrastination, impulsivity, or accidents? Some people with ADHD experience financial difficulties, family conflict, and chronic emotional reactivity or rejection sensitivity dysphoria. Sometimes a close family member has been diagnosed with ADHD, autism or a learning difficulty during their schooling. If you have had difficulties since primary school with zoning out, underperformance, low self-esteem, and difficulty focusing, these might all be indicators that you live with ADHD. Read on to discover more about this debilitating and often invisible condition.
Evallies
We provide rooms to doctors that treat ADHD. Dr Robert Gillies, who founded Evallies, provides the following offer to his clients:
Comprehensive Assessment. ADHD assessments with Dr. Gillies can then lead to medical treatment, in which case, a patient would be able to receive medical care from the same clinician who provided the ADHD assessment.
Access Treatment. If ADHD is diagnosed, some clinicians then do not provide treatment to their patients. Being a qualified medical doctor and certified psychiatrist, Dr. Robert Gillies is able to commence ADHD treatment (medical and/or non-medical) with patients who receive a formal ADHD diagnosis.
Qualified Clinicians. Dr Gillies is a medical doctor (MBBS Hons) and paediatric psychiatrist (FRANZCP) with a Master of Psychiatric Medicine (MPM), and a Bachelor of Medical Science with Honours (BMedSc Hons). He also holds additional qualifications in neuro-developmental psychiatry, and has years of clinical experience caring for people with ADHD. Dr Gillies has previously provided lectures on ADHD at Monash University.
Easily Accessed. The Evallies rooms are based in Hawthorn East; a central Melbourne location close to public transport and parking.
Practical Outcomes. A detailed and comprehensive assessment report is written by Dr Gillies at the conclusion of each assessment. This document is helpful in acquiring professional support and applying for funding as applicable.
Medicare Rebates. As a medical specialist, appointments with Dr Gillies are eligible to receive specialist Medicare rebates that contribute to your safety net.
